Dina Fanai, often referred to as The Cosmopolitan Shaman Songstress, has performed throughout the world as a singer, songwriter, and as a vocalist with the multi-platinum selling arena rock band Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO). After performing with the band for 2 years, she transitioned into being head of artist development for over 8 years. Dina has written and produced for Universal, Sony, and Columbia Records, and has been the recipient of numerous grants and awards from The Songwriter’s Hall of Fame and National Endowment for the Arts, as well as leading tours and educational programs in the US and Southeast Asia. Her recording project CINEMA 12, was featured on Tina Turner’s platinum selling CD “BEYOND” and was the featured vocalist on Grammy nominated Dave Eggar’s CD “Kingston Morning.” 

Dina continues to do extensive artist development, creative consulting and music contracting for major label recording artists, prime network television, Broadway shows and arena tours. Dina also produces ongoing events, where she brings musicians of all genres and cultures together to create more community and to spread the message that there are no boundaries in art and music. She has curated and hosted songwriter showcases throughout New York City for over 10 years to create a safe and supportive environment for other musicians to share and explore their craft. She has led workshops in songwriting and creative expression at The Juilliard School and The Children’s Aid Society.

Dina did artist development, talent coordination and stage direction for “ROCKTOPIA” - A Classical Revolution, which was filmed in Budapest for a PBS special and Broadway run with guest appearances by Pat Monahan (Train), Dee Snider (Twisted Sister) and Robin Zander ((Cheap Trick). Dina was also brought on as vocal producer for Sébastien Izambard from the operatic pop musical quartet Il Divo.

Dina produced and arranged Jackie Evancho’s CD “SOMEDAY AT CHRISTMAS” which hit #1 on the Billboard charts - including the Stevie Wonder classic, title track, “Someday At Christmas” as well as 2 versions of "Little Drummer Boy", one featuring Il Volo. Dina then co-wrote and produced 4 songs on Jackie’s first ever pop CD “TWO HEARTS” also hitting #1 on Billboard. 

Since 2013 she has worked closely with Daniel's Music Foundation (DMF), an organization which provides free music programs for anyone with a disability. In 2017 she then partnered up with DMF in launching the "POWER of MUSIC Concert Series” - A transformational experience of live performances that explores and celebrates the powerful healing force of music.

In 2017 Dina was brought on by the legendary band FOREIGNER as choir master, arranger and featured vocalist for their 40th anniversary orchestral show, television special, DVD and CD, remaining #1 on Billboard for 4 weeks and top 10 for over 8 months. 

Durning the Covid Pandemic she arranged and produced the music and filming for the Nurse Heroes Hispanic Star Choir’s National Anthem with a special introduction by Jennifer Lopez. This emotionally moving video was broadcast on the Telemundo and NBC networks and was viewed by an audience of over 30 million.

The songs from her latest project AVALONA, have already reached a million-plus streams and are part of a revolutionary immersive musical which weaves together a multidimensional art form of song, indigenous storytelling, dance, 360° digital projections, video mapping, and AI technology. The mission and soul of AVALONA is: to open the conversation around mental health awareness, empowerment of the feminine, and to see our connection to each other. AVALONA is scheduled to launch Spring 2024

Through her companies One Vision Music and Power of Music Global, she produces concerts and recordings supporting a wide variety of causes, including people with disabilities, mental health awareness, empowerment of the feminine, diversity inclusion, homeless children, climate change, LGBTQ and animal rights; continuing to dedicate her life to using music to help raise our consciousness and create positive change in the world.
